SERVICE PROJECTS:
 | Most cities can use volunteers in various
ways. Search on Google for your city and look for volunteer opportunities in your
city. Here is the link for Westminster.
|
 | Politics - Contact your state
representative and ask how you can help become more involved.
|
 | Open Space Volunteers - most areas in and
around Denver have open space. Volunteers are always needed to help the areas
clean. Check your city's website or call your city and ask about more. You
can adopt some land to clean (typically 3-4 times a year) and even get a sign with your
family's name on it posted at your site!
|
 | Try searching on Volunteer Match. They have lots of service
opportunities listed!
|
 | Knit hats for LDS humanitarian services.
You will need a knit-a-round hat loom. Kids as young as 7 or 8 can do this!
|
If you know of community service
opportunities in your area, email me or talk to
me and I'll post them on the website. |
